The Black Eyed Peas, also known as BEP, is an American hip hop group from Los Angeles. As of 2009, the group is composed
of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie. Since its breakout album Elephunk in 2003, the group's pop/dance-oriented
style of hip hop music has sold an estimated 27 million albums and singles worldwide.



'Hey Mama' is a song by the American hip hop band Black Eyed Peas, released in 2004 as the third single from their 2003
album 'Elephunk'. The Song reached No.3 in Switzerland, No.4 in Australia, Austria and New Zealand, as well as also
reaching No.6 in the UK becoming their third top ten hit. 'Hey Mama' also reached No.9 in Canada and No.23 in the US
becoming another success for the group. The music video features 3 main locations, the first being a psychedelic limbo,
where the BEP performs breakdancing and the main verse of the song is sung. The color scheme is mostly yellow, red,
brown and off-white. The second is a vertically-black-and-white striped canvas-room. A few parts are sung in here, but
the main one is the one featuring Fergie. The third one is the club dance scene, which has lots of background characters
dancing. The music video features the edited version of the song.
